How do I join?

STEP 1: BOOK A CALL
Use the form on this page to request a consultation, or call us on 02920 617710. On the call we’ll get to know you better, answer any questions you have, and provide you with all of the information you need to see if we are a great fit.

STEP 2: COME IN FOR A CONSULTATION
After our phone call we’ll meet in person. We want to get to know you and learn more about you, your lifestyle and where you need guidance. We want you to come in and get comfortable with the space, the team, and the other members.

STEP 3: CHOOSE THE PROGRAM FOR YOU
Our services are designed to provide the expertise and accountability you need. We will work with you to find the right program for you and your goals to set you up for success from the very beginning

Do you have to be over 40?

We specialise working with over 40’s and our programs are set up to deal with the struggles that over 40’s have around exercise.
Our community is made up of men and women in their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. However, we do have a number of younger people that work with us because they prefer the personalised support that we provide that you can’t get in a commercial gym.

Can I use the gym on my own?

No, we’re not a gym, we’re a personal coaching company. All of our sessions are coach led, which means the only thing you have to do is turn up.

How long are the training sessions?

Personal Training and Small Group Personal Training sessions are 60 minutes.

We have a variety of group fitness classes which are either 30, 45 or 60 minutes long.

I’m really unfit. Will a program like this work for me?

Yes most definitely. Our programs are specifically aimed at beginners. They’re set out from the start to ensure you ease into things gently.

We provide regressions and progressions for every exercise to ensure that you work out at a suitable level for you.

I work long hours. Will I be able to fit it into my current lifestyle?

We are open from 6:15am-8:00pm with sessions available every morning, lunchtime and evening on weekdays.

We are also open on Saturdays from 7:30am-12pm.

I’ve tried diet & exercise in the past, how is this different?

We never put you on a diet, we provide simple strategies that you can use to get great results and still enjoy the foods you love. This approach means that you’ll never feel restricted.

How much do the programs cost?

We have a number of options available and prices vary considerably depending on what level of support and coaching you receive. They range from £69-£400 per month.

How often do I need to train?

For best results, we recommend 3-4x per week. However, if you are new to exercise or are already active away from us then you can still get good results coming in 2x per week.

What should I do if I’m finding it hard to get motivated?

At any point, if you find yourself lacking in motivation or slipping back into bad habits, then just speak to a coach at your next session and ask to book a re-focus session. Alternatively, call us on 02920 617710 or drop us an email at info@bfitcardiff.com

How long are your contracts?

We have 6 and 12 month options available.
We also have trial programs available if you’re not sure which program is right for you.

Is extra personal training available?

Yes, if you require more support then one-to-one personal training is available at £45 per hour or £25 per 30 mins.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?

You can upgrade or downgrade your membership at any time by entering a new 6 or 12 month agreement.

What happens if I am unable to use my membership for a period of time?

If you are unable to use your membership, you can freeze your membership for a monthly fee of £20.

This means you will be able to keep your current price and pick up just where you left off.

  • Members may freeze their membership by giving us 14 days notice prior to their billing date.
  • Membership freezes are for a minimum of one month.
  • If you are unable to train due to medical reasons, your freeze will be free of charge. Please note that medical evidence must be provided.

How do I cancel a session I’ve booked in to?

Personal Training Appointments – please give us 24 hours notice to cancel your one-to-one session with us.
Cancelling after this point or a no-show will result in you losing that session.

Small Group Personal Training and Group Fitness –  you can cancel your class reservations, using the TeamUp booking app, up to 1 hour before the start of your session or by emailing us at info@bfitcardiff.com. Please do not cancel via the Facebook group.

Will I lose my sessions when I go away on holiday?

If you have planned holidays for less than 1 month and are unable to attend your Small Group training sessions, please let us know the dates that you will be away before your holiday by emailing us at info@bfitcardiff.com This will allow us to arrange for you to complete any sessions that you’ll miss.

Please note: Catch-up sessions must be used within 4 weeks, we are unable to backdate missed sessions, therefore we are unable to approve requests for backdated non-attendance.

For holidays extended beyond 1 month, you can opt to pause your membership for a monthly fee of £20. This ensures you can enjoy your break without concern over missing sessions.
